The Youth Information and Media Project takes place in the office of Orfeas in Xylokastro-Evrostini Municipality. Through this project, we aim to provide young people with informal intercultural learning experiences. We also encourage their social interaction, active participation, employability, and solidarity with young people from different countries. The youth information and media project also promotes the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ programmes.

Volunteers assist the staff of Orfeas Organization in daily work. This includes facilitating communication and coordination between volunteers and the organization. They also support volunteers with practical needs in everyday life. They help with dissemination of information, updates, and proposals to partner organizations and prospective volunteers.

A key part of the youth information and media project is media and communication work. Volunteers manage the organization’s social media and website. This includes creating and publishing posts for Instagram and Facebook. They also write articles for Orfeas newsletters. They can also help plan, disseminate, and implement events, activities, and workshops with volunteers and the community.

Through this project, we aim to develop volunteers’ sense of responsibility, creativity, knowledge, and skills. We also give volunteers the opportunity to develop personal projects or workshops based on their interests and talents.
